Aevum. In Latin,
a lifetime.
An age.

Aevia began with our own photos. We wanted to turn them into something worth keeping, and every service we tried handed us a blank screen and a hundred decisions.

You choose a layout, pick a background, place each photo, size every caption. Hours later you have something that looks ok. Just ok. Most of us were never trained to design a page, and it shows.

We slowly realised the problem wasn't us. It was the endless choice. We make hundreds of small decisions every day, and few of them leave us happier. Sometimes you don't want more options. You want fewer, and you want to trust that whichever you pick will be good.

Think of a small kitchen with a short menu, every dish perfected: it beats a wall of options you have to second-guess.

So we built the opposite of a blank screen: a small studio in Vienna, a few templates, each designed with artists and illustrators we work with directly. You choose the one that fits your occasion, send your photos, and we compose the book by hand. You see the finished book, and pay only then.

What you're left with is the thing that mattered all along: a book you're proud of, made to be held and passed on. That is the idea behind our name. Aevum, a lifetime.

Fewer choices. A book worth keeping.

The studio, most days.
