Everything you need to know about ordering and creating your book.
Choose your template, upload your photos and a few words. Within 48 hours you'll get your finished preview: the whole book, laid out by our team. Make the final touches if you like, swap a photo, tweak a caption, then approve. You pay only then, and your book goes to print.
Then you don't pay. The preview is free and comes with no obligation. Before walking away, though: you can adjust it yourself, swap photos, rewrite captions, change the order. And if something feels off that you can't fix in the editor, just reply to your preview email and a real person will look at it.
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. You're only charged after you approve your book, never upfront.
It depends on the template and page count. We'll tell you the ideal range when you order. JPEG or RAW both work.
Printed photos will always look different from your phone screen. That's not a flaw, it's physics: screens emit light, paper reflects it. Colours will be slightly less vivid, and very dark or backlit photos may print darker than expected. Good rule of thumb: reduce your screen brightness to 50% to approximate how a photo will look in print.
For best results we recommend photos taken in good light, with the main subject filling most of the frame. Small faces in group shots, distant landscapes, or heavily filtered photos may lose sharpness or detail in print.
While you review your book, the preview shows a lighter version of each photo so the pages load fast. Look closely or zoom in and photos can appear softer than the originals. That's expected, and it doesn't affect your printed book.
We print from the original, full-resolution files you uploaded, so your finished book looks sharper and more detailed than the screen preview. The only time a photo prints at lower quality is when the upload itself was low resolution: a screenshot, a heavily cropped image, or a photo sent over WhatsApp. If a photo is too low-resolution to print well, you'll see it flagged as soon as you upload it, so you can swap it right there before you finish your order.
Your phone camera is more than good enough: modern smartphones shoot at resolutions well above what printing requires. The main things to avoid: heavy Instagram filters, extreme crops, and very dark or strongly backlit shots. If you've edited your photos in an app, that's fine. Just avoid over-sharpening or heavy colour grading.
We print in the sRGB colour profile. Photos taken on a smartphone are automatically in sRGB. If you're uploading photos from a DSLR camera, check with your photographer that the colour profile is set correctly.
For best quality and correct photo ordering, upload directly from your phone or transfer via USB cable / AirDrop. Avoid WhatsApp or email; they reduce quality and remove date information.
