Everything you need to know about ordering and creating your book.
Printed photos will always look different from your phone screen — and that's not a flaw, it's physics. Screens emit light; paper reflects it. Colors will be slightly less vivid, and very dark or backlit photos may print darker than expected. A good rule of thumb: reduce your screen brightness to 50% to approximate how a photo will look in print.
For best results we recommend photos taken in good light, with the main subject filling most of the frame. Small faces in group shots, distant landscapes, or heavily filtered photos may lose sharpness or detail in print.
Your phone camera is more than good enough — modern smartphones shoot at resolutions well above what printing requires. The main things to avoid: heavy Instagram filters, extreme crops, and very dark or strongly backlit shots. If you've edited your photos in an app, that's fine — just avoid over-sharpening or heavy color grading.
We print in sRGB color profile. Photos taken on a smartphone are automatically in sRGB. If you're uploading photos from a DSLR camera, check with your photographer that the color profile is set correctly.
For best quality and correct photo ordering, upload directly from your phone or transfer via USB cable / AirDrop. Avoid WhatsApp or email — they reduce quality and remove date information.
Depending on the template, you'll need between 50 and 80 photos. We'll let you know the exact range once you choose your template and page count.
